If you're planning to make nappies, here are the basic fabric elements to get you started.

There are three elements/layers to choose from:
1. Waterproof outer layer (we recommend PUL - it is waterproof and breathable)
2. Stay dry inner layer (microfleece draws moisture away from baby's skin)
3. Absorbent layer (bamboo or microfibre provide great absorbency for nappies and their inserts)
If you're planning to us Snap Fasteners, order a machine and snaps separately (the size 20 Starter Kit is a great way to get started). We recommend size 20 snaps for nappies.
